Axis U.K. Limited – formerly Axis Bank UK Limited (“Axis UK”) undertakes regular reviews of its business to ensure it remains aligned to the strategy of the Axis Bank Group.
As a result of the latest review, a decision was made to wind-down and close Axis UK subject to regulatory approvals. Further in this regard, Axis UK has received approval from the UK Regulators for cancellation of permission under Part 4A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (the Act). Thus, Axis UK ceases to be an authorised firm under the Act and is no longer authorised to conduct regulated activities under the Act.
Further, Axis U.K. Limited (formerly Axis Bank UK Limited) ("the Company") was placed into Members Voluntary Liquidation on 9 December 2024 and Daniel Conway and David Hudson of FRP Advisory Trading Limited ("FRP") were appointed as Joint Liquidators.
